St Andrew's Prep strives to provide all our girls and boys with an all-round education that will last a lifetime and will teach them the joy of learning and the importance of values, responsibilities and community. St Andrew's is an inclusive school in which all children are valued and provided with a banquet of opportunities, where doing it all is possible and actively nurtured. In treating the children as individuals with particular needs, interests and strengths they learn to celebrate others similarly. Such an education is fostered through high quality teaching within a safe, stimulating and structured environment where we can make the best use of our wonderful outdoor setting by the Downs and the sea, with our very own Forest School and expanse of playing fields within the school campus. Being part of a wider educational charity with Eastbourne College allows us to share facilities and staff that further enrich the educational opportunities of our children. We value our heritage through our house system, our chapel, our uniform and our Old Androvian Society but we are not afraid of change and will grasp new opportunities. St Andrew's is a proper 'prep' school that prepares its children for life at senior school and actively promotes choice at 13 so that each child can enter the senior school that is appropriate for them.
